My First Few Baguio Days

since i do not yet have internet connection in our boarding house, i keep track of what i do..hehe.. like a little diary.. :)

JUNE 14, 2009

my adventure starts now..
just a few more hours before my family leaves..
i'll be left alone here in Baguio to learn how to be independent and learn more about life..
i'm somewhat scared because i don't know any of these people and i find it hard to make friends when i'm by myself..
good thing ate Nina is easy to befriend..
she is Kuya Bon's pamangkin and she's been staying here for a long time now..
i haven't met my roommates yet, but i'm looking forward to..
i also feel a little excited to learn alot about life by MYSELF..

whew..finally, i'm in my boarding house already..
i just finished unpacking all my stuff and putting them on my cabinet.. :)
i'm trying to fit in with all my other housemates..
i hope it woudn't be that hard..
the first thing i need to do is to talk to them and be acquainted..
i dunno what i will do if mama leaves me here later..
maybe i'll just be talking to ate Nina, mainly because i don't know any other housemate yet..
i've already been acquainted with ate Hannah but we didn't get to talk much..

my family left already..
before they go, mama told my other housemates to watch after me..
i met ate Nikki and ate Janelle..
ate Nikki told me that she once lived in ugong, that was about four to five years ago, but i really don't see her much..
maye i already saw her but i just can't recall..
i texted up Ken and Felly..
they told me that they just arrived and found out that there will be a Freshman Assembly tomorrow morning at nine..
i told them that we should all go together, they agreed and we talked about meeting up in SM City tomorrow morning..
i saw ate Kim just now.. she ust went into the room and apologized that she left the room unclean..
i said it was okay.. then, she went out..
i forgot..
mama cried before they left..
i didn't expect that she would, but like she hugged me then burst into tears..
maybe i got a little carried away and cried too..
waaaaaaa.....
super dyahe..
now, i'm alone in our room...
i'm gonna finish it up now..
i guess nothing much is going to come up..

well, i was wrong, something went on..
i cooked corned beef.. yeah for some it's not a big deal but like, for me, it is..
supposedly, i was going to eat sausages for dinner..
cause i don't know how to cook..
but then, ate Nina asked me what i will eat..
i was gonna say sausages but i was afraid that you know.. haha..
i told her that i'll just eat corned beef and "prito" it..
whew.. i did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
haha..
after we ate, we chatted a little bit in her room..
then when i went back to my room ate Kim talked to me..
we got acquainted, and now, i feel a little okay.. :)
so, gudnyt..
imma sleep now. need to go to school tomorrow..

JUNE 15

whew.. waiting for my noodles to cook..
it's lunch time and since i dunno how to cook, ok na tong noodles.. :)
ate Nina is still asleep, i think..
my roommates are downstairs eating their lunch..
i just got home..
i met with Ken, Fely and Aika..
we went to UP and visited the Lourdes Grotto..
and OMG the grotto was so high up..
we had to climb like super many stairs..
good thing we did it..
haha.. we lit candles, one each and prayed a little..
i hoped for guidance during my stay here in baguio..
o yeah, it's my first day that i'm alone..
i hope i can do it!!!! :)
wish me luck.. ahaha..

two of our other housemates arrived today..
ate Mau and ate Beth..
i got along with them naman easily kasi ate Kim and ate Hannah helped me..
since i was sooooooo hungry and i need to buy drinking water..
i just waited for the rain to stop then i went to sm..ALONE..
ate Hannah asked me to buy her an umbrella.. so, i looked for it first before doing the groceries..
i bought water then snacks then a yum burger from jolibee..
whew...
when i was done, damn it, the rain poured so hard and the line for the taxi was so long..
i walked home, in the pouring rain, carrying a 5-liter water bottle..
but it was cool.. twas an adventure.. :)
now i'm home.. :)


JUNE 16,2009

just got home..
this is my first day as a college student..
it was fun really..
i got to meet all sorts of people and i have a new friend..
her name is Lee.. she approached me at our first class.. which is PE..
she's cool and we got along real good.. :)
after our first class, we circled the school and tried to look for our rooms..
our room assignments are so far away from each other, good thing we have long breaks..
we only had four subjects for the day..
math17 which is our 5units class, is our main class..
sir nathaniel is our block adviser.. :)
i think i'm gonna like it here..
there are three students nga pala na Lee and I don't really like..
i think they're mayabang but, i dunno..
hahaha..

how would i describe my first day?

wieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.... my first days here in Bgauio are supah fun..
now im at a pasta house just to connect to the internet. haha
