The 8th State Of The Nation Address by Pres. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo..

i did what i said on my last post..forcing myself to watch the SONA and hated it coz' i missed my favorite nickelodeon cartoon show..i wrote some of the things that the media pointed out during the president's speech..and it was a bull sh*t, just as i thought it would be..she only pointed out the good things which took place but haven't she looked out the Malacañang Palace?haven't she seen all of those poor people lying down the streets?or is she just being too blind to see all of those?

here a a few things i noted about..the ones enclosed in quotes are what the President said..

"I will not let politics get in the way of our country's progress." - all i can say is, 'isn't she?' by the things that she is saying now she's using politics and our connection to politicians from other countries are the ones helping us to attain progress. what the?

"65 million Filipinos have health insurance." - oh really?what about me?there are 88 million Filipinos estimated, can you say that 73.86% of that have insurance?if you just look on the poor population of country, perse about 10% of our population, who can't afford having health insurance., can you clarify that 65 million have insurance?freako..

"Minimum wage earners are now exempt from paying income taxes" - a big hurrah..but will it really help that much?with the prices of consumer goods these days, i guess not..

I'm getting bored with all this sh*t..i just wrote so much that i can't handle all my reactions..ha ha..
hmm..there's just one thing President Arroyo said that made me smile, when she said that 50cents was cut off the sms by Telecom..ha ha..

hmm..people really need to think outside the box..yes, the President is telling truth..but we can't be assured that all of the problems are being tackled in the SONA..

lately, i heared that a "People's SONA" is taking place during the real SONA outside the Batasan Hall..how fun would that be..expressing the true feelings of regular people towards the society rocks!i hope i can join that rally..ha ha..
